British American Tobacco
BAT is one of the world's largest tobacco companies: it sells Dunhill, Kent, Lucky Strike, Pall Mall and, in the U.S., Newport and Camel cigarettes in more than 140 markets, and uses that cash to grow smokeless products such as Vuse vapes, Velo nicotine pouches and glo heated tobacco.
It still owns almost a quarter of India's ITC.
The stake in India's largest cigarette and consumer-goods group is a cash reserve BAT has been selling down to cut debt and buy back shares.
