Dollarama
Dollarama is Canada's largest dollar-store chain, selling consumables, general merchandise and seasonal items at fixed low price points up to C$5 in about 1,700 company-operated stores, and it also owns The Reject Shop chain in Australia and a majority stake in the Latin American chain Dollarcity.
Its fastest-growing chain is in Latin America, off its books.
Dollarcity's 732 stores are equity-accounted, so their profits arrive as a share of earnings rather than as sales.
